An excellent book!

The authors have done a great job at reviewing the psychology of attitudes. The reader learns about the origin of attitudes, how attitudes are measured, how they can be influenced, and how they guide our thinking and behaviour. Written mainly as a textbook for undergraduates, the book's content and style are accessible to readers from the general public as well. Up-to-date coverage of research findings, lots of examples and illustrations. I can highly recommend this book.

Good Information, Terrible Design

After reading god knows how many textbooks, DESIGN is perhaps - at this point - the crucial feature to determine a textbooks worth.
Of course textbooks vary in what information they present, but in general, they vary according to HOW they present it.
This book is aesthetically repulsive. It certainly was not formatted with a student reader in mind. It is certainly far from the level of prentice hall.
With that said, I learned a lot from this book (though it was a struggle to get the information out). However, beyond that, I'm not sure if there is another "textbook" on the material. Unfortunate.
