It's nice but...

While this is a definite improvement over the prior edition of Choe's with more updated information and use of the Guidelines as I hope will be on the exam, there are multiple typos and the information can contradict itself in the case format. I think it serves as a useful adjunct, but probably not the only thing I would want to use to study for the test. Some of the algorithms, like those in the infertility workup, are helpful. Chapters with wrong titles "Urethral obstruction" instead of "Ureteral obstruction" are not.

Crappy book but the only one out there

I bought this edition as soon as it was released in Jan for the oral boards this year (2017). It is helpful in the sense that it lays out the format for review for the oral exam. But there are sooooo many typos and mistakes especially for a 4th edition like other reviewers have mentioned. The infertility chapter is absolute trash and i actually ripped out those pages. How is a book in its 4th edition have typos in the chapter outline (urethral obstruction).
This is a lazy update and the authors dont care bc its the only oral board book out there. A total cash grab bc they know there will be anxious and nervous applicants willing to pick up this book. I really hope another group comes out with a competitor and puts this book out of its misery.
